The Introduction
Welcome to the inner circle of Kaywee. We respect your essence and are committed to protecting your personal data with absolute elegance.
This policy informs you how we look after your information when you visit our digital boutique and tells you about your privacy rights and the legal protections in place.
Essence We Collect
Your name, and a profile photo if you sign in with Google.
Email, phone number, and shipping address — where we send our love and packages.
Order history and amounts. We never see or store your card details — Shopify's secure checkout handles payment directly.
If you enter your email at checkout but don't finish your order, we save that snapshot — your email, name/address if entered, and your bag's contents — so we can follow up with a reminder. Completing the order, or asking us to forget it, clears this.
Product reviews you write, and items you save to your wishlist.
Device type and usage patterns via Google Analytics, so we can keep the boutique running smoothly.
Why We Use It
To fulfil and track your orders, keep your account and wishlist working, and moderate reviews before they go public.
To send transactional emails: order confirmations, a reminder if you leave items in your bag, and replies to messages you send us.
To understand how the boutique is used, so we can keep improving it.
The Preservation
Your data is preserved with rigorous security protocols, hosted on reputable infrastructure: Firebase (Google Cloud) for accounts and order records, Shopify for our product catalog and payments, Resend for transactional email, and Netlify for hosting. We limit access to only those essential to your Kaywee journey — our trusted team and these processing partners.
The Safeguards
The entire site runs over encrypted HTTPS. Your password is managed by Firebase Authentication — we never see or store it in plain text. Payment details are handled entirely within Shopify's own PCI-compliant checkout; they never touch our servers.
Cookies
We use a session cookie to keep you signed in, and Google Analytics to understand site traffic. We don't use third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
The Connection
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your personal data — including clearing an abandoned-cart record — at any time. Our concierge is always at your service.
